Searching limits the set of people displayed in the reminder table. Currently, searches are done within the first name, last name, e-mail addresses and note fields of records in your address book.

To search the people in your reminder table, type in space separated strings in the 'Search:' field. The search automatically limits the list as you type. See the Search Logic section for more information on searching.

Search Logic
Separate words (or characters) in the search field by a space character, i.e. " ". As more words are added, the search becomes less restrictive. Basically, the search in english is:

Find people in my address book with at least one of the search words in their record's first name, last name, e-mail address or note fields.
Table 1: Search string examples. Searches are always case insensitive. That is, a search for "joe" is the same as a search for "Joe" or "JoE".
Search String Explaination
joe Finds all records in your address book that contain the substring "joe" in one of the search fields.
Schmoe Doe Finds all records in your address book that contain the substring "Schmoe" or the substring "Doe" in one of the search fields.

Useful if you want to find all records for a group of last names. You could, for example, find all family records in your address book by entering all last names.
